This post contains detail information about Dattatray Anagha Ashtami Vrat to be perform on every month of Krishna Ashtami (Kal-ashtami).
Following are the list of basic items required for PUJA and the procedure
1. Supari-9 ( eight suparies, each supari represents each son of dattarya for e.g. Anima, Laghima, Prakamya, prapti and so on) one supari for bhagwan Ganesh
2. Two kalash:- each one for dattatray and godess Lakshmi,
3. Ashta-dal to be made by rangoli or rice as shown in Yantra (below picture) then put each supari of each sons of Anagh dampati. Arrange the Puja table as shown below in picture "Anagha Datta Puja Yantram.
4. Samai, Diya, Shankha, Ghanta, Prasad etc to be arranged as shown in picture or photographs
5. Start puja with Ganesh Pujan and then do pratishthapana of each Son of Anagh Dampatti, finally do the Puja of Dattatray and Lakshmi (Anagh dampati) and then read Kath (story).
Distribute the prasad and keep fast for one day.
